Cayetano Ferrer et Daniel Firman

Cayetano Ferrer posts pictures he's taken onto steel signs in Chicago. He tries to give the people an image of the view behind the sign, while sometimes keeping parts of the sign visible.

Danial Firman balanced an elephant...

he also does neat things with neon

moooo.

Title: A cow attempting to deceive the butcher by pretending to be a fairground attraction.
Artist: Michael Trainor

I just really like the title.
I spent my day looking at cows from CowParade. Quite productive, clearly.

Title: Astronaut Cow
Artist: Jan Tepnek... I think. The letters were mixed up from Czech-American keyboards or something.

This guy is not famous, but it's a pretty sweet balloon hat. It's by a guy named Ralph Dewey. http://dewey.balloonhq.com/index.php?portid=1027&page=3&category=0

Trees

Natalie Jeremikenko's Tree Logic.
Looks...nice...

This is "A Tree for Anable Basin"
"The project by Chico MacMurtrie and Amoprhic Robot Works was conceived to investigate and celebrate "the enigmatic, rapidly changing waterfront environment of Long Island City." It also acts as a "condominium for birds"" (http://gothamist.com/2007/10/30/anable_tree_flo.php)

Cornucopia of Art.

by Ron Mueck. He has an entire series of creepily large infants/children/adults as well as just heads and other body parts. He was also the voice of Ludo in The Labyrinth. The picture of him working on one of his pieces freaks me out... in a good way.

This is by Alexander Calder. He is known for his very neat-looking mobiles. A lot of them have primary or pretty simple colors, but I like this black one for its simplicity and shapes. I'm not sure of the name of it since I got it from googling their names, but I'm pretty sure Ron Mueck's is called "boy" possibly "boy crouching" because he's not too creative with names, and this one might be called "black mobile" but, again, could be wrong.
